ANNOUNCEMENTS
Hallelujah Fest

The Hallelujah Fest is Calvary Chapel’s ALTERNATIVE to Halloween. So, bring out the whole family for a fun, safe, Holy Spirit-filled evening of games, bouncy houses, and more! Every year at the Hallelujah Fest, hundreds of families show up who are unchurched or don’t know the Lord. We want to make a special effort to show them the love of Jesus, and how His power can change a person’s life. Please pray for our prep team, volunteers, and all the families from our community that we’ll meet. See YOU there, October 31 at 6 PM!

For more information on the Hallelujah Fest, check out this page. For more on our Children’s Ministry at CalvaryCSM, check out this page, or contact Ms. Stacy Chapman.

Home School Mom's Ministry

Hey homeschool moms! Join us for a morning of fun and fellowship at the Lawrenceville Library on Tuesday, October 28 at 10 AM. We’ll spend time reading with our kids, connecting with other homeschool families, and enjoying meaningful conversation together. It’s a great opportunity to continue your homeschool work in a relaxed setting while your children explore and discover new books.

Come enjoy a cozy morning of stories, encouragement, and community! For more details or questions, see Tricia Barrett.

Men's Prayer Breakfast

Men, join us on Saturday, November 1, at 8 AM, for a morning of prayer, fellowship, and a hearty breakfast!  As 1 John 5:14 says, “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.” For more information on our Men’s Ministry at CalvaryCSM, check out this page, or talk to Pastor James Chapman.

The Link: Parents Ministry

We’re excited to launch a new phase of our Time Out ministry, called “The Link“. We are connected families walking side-by-side in faith and friendship. Parents with kids of any age are welcome! The next meeting will be this Saturday evening, November 1st, in the Brook from 7-9 PM. Please sign up at the Information counter if you plan on attending.

Winter Coat Drive

Hey church! This winter, we’re collecting warm clothing—like jackets, scarves, and shoes—for the refugee community in Clarkston through our Winter Coat Drive, led by Allen and Josie Mlendough. Many refugee families face the cold months without proper clothing, and this is a great way to bless them in Jesus’ name.

Allen and Josie are organizing a team to deliver the items on Saturday, November 15th at 10 AM, and there are three ways you can help:

One: Donate winter items to the labeled boxes in either foyer.

Two: Help sort donations on Friday, November 14th, from 6:00–7:00 PM or Saturday morning from 10:15–11:45 AM.

Three: Join the delivery team!

You can sign up or get more information at the Information Counter or call the church office. See Allen or Josie for details. (678)-789-3358

Let’s come together to share the love of Christ and keep families warm this winter!

In Romans chapter 6, Paul teaches us about the enslaving nature of sin.  In the beginning, as we toy with sin, we think we are in control, but very quickly, sin can take over our lives. We are not just talking about drugs or alcohol.  Any type of sin can take hold in our lives and spin us out of control.  Free Indeed is a Bible study designed to help you acquire tools that will equip you to battle the sin that so easily ensnares you more effectively. If you could use some help, why not join us? We meet in the Brook, in the back corner of the building. We meet most Tuesday evenings at 7 PM, and I know you can find help from the study of God’s Word and from the support of others!

OFC is an informal morning fellowship for men meeting on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 AM in the Brook (contact John Borger for more details). We discuss family, share humor, review local, national, and world issues, and spend time in a casual study of God's word.

United High School group meets on Wednesday Nights at the church from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. For more info about our High School Ministry, check out this page, or reach out to Pastor Andrew Taylor.

Middle School group meets on Wednesday Nights at the church from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. For more info about our Middle School Ministry, check out this page, or reach out to Allen Mlendough Jr.

Backpack Buddies

Backpack Buddies is an outreach partnering with Shiloh Elementary. Each week during the school year, we send home backpacks of food to students on the free and reduced lunch program. Each school day they are provided a meal by the school, however, on the weekends, they are often on their own. So our bags of food are sent home on Friday afternoons. Only certain foods can be sent home, so make sure you check out the approved foods list at the info counter! We are particularly looking for pudding cups, small cereal boxes, and canned meals. Thank you so much for your support!
