CCSM Christmas Eve Services

Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain is having three Christmas Eve services this year! Sunday, December 21, is our Pre-Christmas Eve service for anyone who is traveling or otherwise engaged on the 24th. Then on December 24th, we’ll have two services: one at 4 pm, and one at 7 pm. We’ll also have a nursery for the little ones and a birthday party for Jesus with the kiddos at each service. We hope you’ll join us for any of our three Christmas Eve Services, to take time to pause and reflect on the reason we celebrate Christmas.

CCSM Women's Christmas Outreach

Ladies! This Sunday, December 7th, is our annual Christmas Outreach. You will get to enjoy delicious macarons and wonderful fellowship with the ladies of our church! Doors are open at 5:30 PM, and back by popular demand, we’ll be hosting another silent auction. We’ll also have our Christmas Shoppes set up in the Brook, where you can support the ladies of Calvary who make their own products. Our Shoppes, along with the silent auction, will help raise money to support the Mirembe’s, a missionary family living in Uganda. If you have a service or item you would like to auction off, or if you would like to have a table at the Christmas Shoppe, contact Stacy by calling the church office this week. The price is $10 – Click here to register!

This is the perfect opportunity to bring friends or family to a special evening celebrating the real reason for the season!

Gift Wrapping Outreach

Last year, we had a great time offering gift wrapping to the community. And now, we’re offering it again! We’ll be going out on three different days: December 8th from 6-8 pm, December 9th from 6-8 pm, and December 20th from 10-2 pm. You can sign up at the information counter for the day that works best for you!

Snowflake Outreach

Part 1 of our Snowflake outreach is nearing its end. This Sunday is the last day to get a snowflake from the tree! All the gifts are due back NEXT Sunday, the 14th, and make sure you have the snowflake attached to the top. A volunteer will be stationed at each tree. Once you choose a snowflake, tell the volunteer the child’s name so we can track every gift. Then purchase the gift, wrap it, attach the snowflake, and return it to the church by December 14.

*The limit is $50 per snowflake, and each child has two snowflakes.*

Part 2 is on December 21st, right after the second service. The families will be coming by to pick up their gifts, and we need people willing to stay and help them load their gifts and pray for them.

Middle School Christmas Party

Our middle school youth group is celebrating the birth of Jesus with a Christmas party on Wednesday night, December 10th, from 6:00-7:30 pm! Come out and join us for a great night of food, games, and fun!

CCCS • Christmas Musical

Calvary Chapel Christian School’s Christmas musical is on Tuesday, December 16th, and Wednesday, December 17th, at 7 pm. It’s entitled “A Play In a Manger,” and we would love for you to come out with your whole family to enjoy the show. It’s completely free and well…. Adorable. So I hope to see you for one of our show nights!

High School Christmas Party

High Schoolers will be having a Christmas Party on Friday, December 19th, from 5-8 PM. We will enjoy Mexican food, Christmas-themed games, and more! For more information and details, talk to Pastor Andrew. See ya there!

Ladies Bible Study: Armor of God

Ladies, mark your calendars. Our Women’s Bible Study returns in January with a 7-week study through The Armor of God by Priscilla Shirer. This study will equip you to recognize the spiritual battles around you and stand firm with the strength and protection God provides. There are different groups available on different nights of the week, so you can choose what works best for you. Sign-ups for the study start this Sunday, and fill up quickly. This is the perfect opportunity to bring friends or family to a special evening celebrating the real reason for the season!

In Romans chapter 6, Paul teaches us about the enslaving nature of sin. In the beginning, as we toy with sin, we think we are in control, but very quickly, sin can take over our lives. We are not just talking about drugs or alcohol. Any type of sin can take hold in our lives and spin us out of control. Free Indeed is a Bible study designed to help you acquire tools that will equip you to battle the sin that so easily ensnares you more effectively. If you could use some help, why not join us? We meet in the Brook, in the back corner of the building. We meet most Tuesday evenings at 7 PM, and I know you can find help from the study of God’s Word and from the support of others!

OFC is an informal morning fellowship for men meeting on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 AM in the Brook (contact John Borger for more details). We discuss family, share humor, review local, national, and world issues, and spend time in a casual study of God's word.

United High School group meets on Wednesday Nights at the church from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. For more info about our High School Ministry, check out this page, or reach out to Pastor Andrew Taylor.

Hello young adults, On Monday, December 1st, we’ll be taking a group to serve at the Operation Christmas Child Processing Center in Doraville. We’ll meet at the church at 5:00 PM to carpool, or you can meet us at the center at 5:45 PM. We’ll wrap up and leave the facility by 10:00 PM, returning to the church around 10:30 PM. If you’d like to join us or need more details, contact the church office or check out this page.

Backpack Buddies

Backpack Buddies is an outreach partnering with Shiloh Elementary. Each week during the school year, we send home backpacks of food to students on the free and reduced lunch program. Each school day they are provided a meal by the school, however, on the weekends, they are often on their own. So our bags of food are sent home on Friday afternoons. Only certain foods can be sent home, so make sure you check out the approved foods list at the info counter! We are particularly looking for pudding cups, small cereal boxes, and canned meals.
