Our next Men’s Discipleship study begins Thursday, January 15th. This is a 7-week study that will run through the last Thursday of February.
Most of us will meet here at the church at 7 PM on Thursdays, but we’re also offering a 7 AM group at the Chick-fil-A on Highway 29 in Lilburn. In addition, we’re adding a Wednesday night group at the Chick-fil-A on Highway 78 in Snellville, meeting at 6:15 PM.
This time we will be reading “Men Don’t Run in the Rain” by Rick Burgess—a powerful, light-hearted reflection on the Biblical lessons he learned from his father, Coach Bill Burgess. The book carries a strong message about a man’s responsibility to mentor and strengthen younger men. I want to challenge all of our guys—married or single, young or old—to join us. As iron sharpens iron, so we sharpen one another.
