Backpack Buddies

BACKPACK BUDDIES is an outreach ministry of Calvary Chapel. Each week during the school year, we send home backpacks of food to students identified by the guidance counselor as homeless or needy. These students are on the free and reduced lunch program, so each school day they are provided a meal by the school, however, on the weekends, they are often on their own. So our backpacks are sent home on Friday afternoons. Only certain foods can be sent home, so check out the list at the bottom of this page! You can drop off supplies at the church office between 9 AM and 4 PM any day during the week. We also include invites to our church services and events such as Hallelujah Fest, VBA, Christmas Eve, and Easter services.
