On Thursday evening, December 5, Pastor James and Donna Chapman will be hosting a gathering called, “Surviving the Holidays”. There will be some tasty refreshments and treats followed by a message of encouragement for this troublesome time of the year. The famous song by Andy Williams claims that the Christmas season is the most wonderful time of the year. Yet, for those grieving the lost someone they close through death, or divorce, or broken friendships, the holidays can be the most painful and lonely time of the year. God’s Word has much to say to the hurting heart. We will see what it says. And we are a comfort to one another, something God’s Word instructs us to do. Don’t walk through this season alone.
