Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain
unshaken kids vision
We desire to be UNSHAKEN in our FAITH in God and our desire to be a devoted disciple of Jesus.
At Unshaken Kids, our mission is to debunk the natural tendencies of kids (and people everywhere) to think they can be saved from their sins:
-by going to church
-because their parents or grandparents are Christians
-by being a “good person” or doing good things
-by giving money to church
We teach children that they are saved by faith in the saving grace of God, and in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and faith alone. This is the Good News!

Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things unseen, the evidence of things hoped for.”
Ephesians 2:8-9 “And it is by grace we are saved, through faith, and its not of ourselves, it is the gift of God.”
Genesis 15:6 “And he believed God, and He counted it unto him as righteousness.”
We desire to be UNSHAKEN in our UNDERSTANDING of the Bible and our desire to do what It says.
At Unshaken Kids, we endeavor to teach God’s Word at every opportunity. We use a variety of activities, games, dramas, and object lessons to reach all types of learners and to drive home the Biblical points.

Hebrews 4:12 “For the Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword…”
2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness.”
Romans 10:17 “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
We desire to be UNSHAKEN in our PURPOSE to be a part of The Church.
At Unshaken Kids, we believe the church was established by Jesus, and is an important part of the growth and purpose of every Christian. We believe that God has good works set for each of us, and discovering those things come from our place in The Church.

Hebrews 10:25 “Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”
Ephesians 4:12-16 “…for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in a cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head– Christ — from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.”
1 Corinthians 12:12-27 “If the foot should say, ‘Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body,’ is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear should say, ‘Because I am not an eye, I am not of the body?’ is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling? But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased… Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.”
Acts 2:42 “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.”
